Thumbs up Easter Cross made from Egg Carton

Here are simple instructions for making a cute cross out of empty egg cartons. You can embelish this project with whatever you have around the house!

Supplies:

Egg Carton
Tacky Glue or a hot glue gun ( I prefer tacky glue, sticks well to egg carton)
Various decor(lace, markers, buttons, ribbon, flowers, anything you can think of really)

Instructions:

1)Cut out the egg carton so you have one row of 5 cups and one row of 6 cups.

2)Place glue inside the middle cup of the 5-row and place it on the 2nd cup of the 6-row(creates cross-shape).

3) Decorate the cross however you wish. I really like the criss-cross effect of adding lace or thin strips of fabric to "wrap" the cross. Let your children use their imaginations. It is a cheap and fun project.
