Default Foam Plastic kids can make

This stuff is amazing! I've had kids making it at library activities for years and I don't remember where I got the original idea.

You'll need:
White Shave Cream Foam, like Barbasol
White Glue, like Elmer's
disposable cup
disposable spoon
sheet of dark paper, dark blue construction paper works well

At the Library I do this as a group activity and every child's plastic turns out different! I put a quick squirt of shave cream into a disposable cup for each child and they are to add about as much white glue as shave cream, then slowly stir the mixture. Then they use the back of the spoon, a water-paintbrush, and toothpick to apply the foam mixture to the paper to make a picture. I have a sample picture made where I made a snowman standing on snowdrifts and snowflakes falling in the sky. I also have tiny branches and black construction paper hats in case they want to add those to snowmen. Some kids copy my sample, others make original pictures. I have extra scraps of construction paper so they can cut house shingles or whatever they need.

Set the pictures aside to dry a few days. Some of the foam dries to a marshmallow consistency and some dries as hard as plastic, it depends on how much glue the child added.
