on rainy days i have a box of crafts. this year i bought a bunch of model kits at joann fabrics for One dollar each. they can pick one, they put it together glue and paint. lots of fun. we have (in storage) boats race cars tanks birdhouses . they are wood and come with the glue, wood, paint, brush and directions. even a sail for the sail boat. keeps them busy for hours!
