Butterscotch Chow Mein Crunchies!
You will need:
one 11 ounce bag of butterscotch morsels
2 cups of chow mein noodles (5 ounce can)
1 cup of salted peanuts
Using a double boiler, melt butterscotch morsels, mix chow mein noodles and salted peanuts into the melted butterscotch. Place in heaping teaspoons onto wax paper (on cookie sheets) to cool either in the fridge or outside if you live in a cool climate. Cool until hardened. Makes about four dozen pieces.
These are yummy because they have a crunch but it isn't the usual oatmeal or rice crispies!
