Default can't seem to take a cold shower

so - why is it... even though it is 90 some degrees out and I'm out as can be, when I take a shower I just can't bring myself to put on cold water... not even luke warm... I still have to have it really warm....

Default I like mine hot

For me a shower is better the hotter it is. I am also one who cannot shower when the water is anything less than hot. Go figure.

Lightbulb hot showers

i think in our minds we associate the shower in our bathroom as comfort and always take warm or hot showers no matter what the temp is inside or outside, but if we went into the pswimming pool we would be fine getting in the ice cold water right,,, i think it is all amind thing

Well, my 8-year-old sure doesn't have that problem... the other day, when it was 95 degrees out, she came out from the bathroom and said, "I just took a COLD shower, and it was the best shower I've ever taken!"

Her lips looked a little blue... touching her cheek, it was cold. Boy, she must have had the water cold! I told her that next time, she might want to take a "Cool" shower instead of a cold one!

Talking So weird...but true for me too!

I know it...I will be all sweaty from being outside and I know turning on cold water would be SO refreshing...but I just cannot do it. Yet I would jump into a cold pool in a minute....WELL that is - if I would be willing to put on a bathing suit - which I am not!

My Best,

For me, the hotter - the better.
If I am not red when I get out of the shower, I just don't feel clean!

I could deal with lukewarm but ice cold? NO WAY ! It hurts my head to try to wash it in an ice cold shower. With my body out of the way of the stream of water of course. I have had to do it a few times. I would rather stay out of the shower and use baby wipes, lots of deoderant, perfume and a hat then to ever take a cold shower again!

Red face hot showers

Myself, I love very warm showers, but as for my husband and my 4 yr. old son, they have to have the water cold all year around. I couldn't stand that in the winter time. I freeze then anyways.
